SCHOTT SYSTEME GmbH is a company specialising in CAD/CAM, computer graphics and production IT that has been developing modular, cost-effective software solutions for design, construction and production for 40 years.

The CAD-CAM software "Pictures by PC" includes, among other things, 2D/3D CAD construction, 2D/3D design with hybrid 3D modelling (surface, volume and mesh), technical documentation, rendering and animation. The CAM standard package includes 2.5D and 3D milling/drilling and engraving with 3+2 axes. Additional technologies include 5-axis simultaneous milling, turning, turn-milling and wire EDM. The transparent import/export of CAD data is supported by the Exchange Package.

In addition, the software has an integrated, object-oriented programming and development environment with which supplemental individual functions or complete solutions can be easily created.
