MaxiMill - 211-DC additively manufactured indexable insert milling system
Particularly when machining titanium and other high-temperature materials, the best possible cooling with emulsion is required to achieve a good machining result. This is precisely where the patented MaxiMill - 211-DC corner milling cutter, developed and produced in-house, shines, thanks to its optimised DirectCooling supply to the insert flanks. The developers came up with a concept that could not be realised with conventional manufacturing processes in order to achieve this goal in the best possible way. The MaxiMill - 211-DC indexable insert milling cutter is a good example of how additive manufacturing processes are no longer just a gimmick or an end in itself, but can provide decisive added value in machining.
