Together with the many different small and medium-sized companies and internationally active market leaders, the trade fair duo offers a series of highlights that will enrich the start of the 2025 financial year.
Ceratizit is heading to Leipzig with five new products: the new S-Cut milling machines are made from 99 per cent recycled carbide, boosting sustainability. The range also includes high-precision micro milling cutters for complex miniature components, a Cermet cutting material grade with high performance when finishing steels and a turning plate milling system with optimum coolant supply. The company also has a multifunctional tool that has been in continuous development over the past three decades.
Citizen Machinery has developed an automatic tool changer which, in conjunction with the B-axis, increases the number of tools many times over and thus allows the use of a total of 13 tools together with the B-axis for front end machining. These include twelve interchangeable tools and one integrated tool.
Emco Deutschland GmbH, which has manufactured high-performance machines for over 75 years, will also be showcasing a new product: The HYPERTURN 45 enables complex workpieces to be manufactured very productively and efficiently. Whether turning or milling: enormous flexibility is achieved through dynamics. With two powerful spindles, two turrets and a stable Y-axis, it handles demanding production tasks with ease.
FEHLMANN is presenting the latest development in the field of 5-axis production: the PICOMAX 550, also available as a PRO version. The new CNC machine has been especially designed for modern 5-axis machining. The sophisticated, compact design offers high levels of operating convenience, perfect and convenient accessibility to all relevant machine components and maximum flexibility. Automation can also be easily retrofitted at any time. The integrated rotary swivel table with cooled torque drives allows precise and efficient machining of a wide variety of challenging parts.
The 5-axis universal machining centre from GROB-WERKE offers machining industry customers almost unlimited possibilities when it comes to milling workpieces made of a wide range of materials. Our universal machining centre is optimally designed for the varied requirements of different industries and impresses with its wide range of potential applications.
HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH will be presenting the ACURA 65 5-axis machining centre with automatic loading using a MARATHON PL406 pallet storage system. With the automated system, HEDELIUS is offering an extremely compact machining solution that enables long, unmanned runtimes even in smaller production facilities.
At the SIMTEK stand, visitors can expect an expanded selection of 3D laser-cut chip shape geometries, the versatile simmill 9W milling tool system and newly developed, length-adjustable brackets in addition to the tried-and-trusted range of tools. There is also a particular focus on customised tool solutions for machining of the smallest diameters.
Okuma Deutschland is presenting two machines at Intec that are certain to set new standards in performance and precision: the MULTUS B250-W turning and milling centre and the MU-4000V 5-axis machining centre. Both machines offer maximum efficiency for complex applications – from the production of small to medium batch sizes to demanding, full machining operations.
The Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Cutting Tools (ZCC-CT) is the largest Chinese manufacturer of carbide tools and is part of the MinMetals Group. The entire value chain for modern, high-performance cutting tools from ZCC takes place transparently and under one roof, from the extraction of raw materials, through processing into carbide powder, to the coated end product.
ULT AG is celebrating a world première with an extraction and filter system that offers a new solution for eliminating atmospheres containing flammable components. The system, which includes an explosion-proof fan, has been developed for the extraction and filtration of dry, flammable and non-flammable gases and vapours in concentrations of up to 20 per cent of the lower explosion limit. The company from Saxony is also presenting the LAS 260.1 a brand new filter system for the extraction of laser fumes, which is an advantageous solution for laser system operators as well as system integrators and system manufacturers.
As an international marketplace with 30 per cent of exhibitors from other European countries and a focus on Eastern Europe, the Subcontracting Fair Z not only offers the opportunity to promote networking abroad – new exhibitors and well-known companies from the region also present innovations that perfectly complement the Intec range.
A first time exhibitor at the Z supplier fair, Ätztechnik Herz GmbH & Co. KG from Epfendorf am Neckar will be demonstrating the possibilities offered by etching technology when other technologies reach their limits. The traditional company with its roots in Baden-Württemberg offers the most efficient and cost-effective solutions – from prototypes to large-scale production on the assembly line. With etching technology and reel-to-reel, better prices can be achieved with medium and larger quantities, while direct further processing on the belt also significantly increases the economic efficiency of the production process.
Strähle Gummiformtechnik GmbH has stood for high-quality elastomer and rubber composite parts for over 50 years. For the first time at Z, the company will be presenting a wide range of services for industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and other specialised sectors. Toolmaking in collaboration with experienced partners guarantees the highest precision and durability. Each tool is individually adapted to the requirements of the component. In production, the company relies on modern processes such as compression, injection and transfer moulding, which enables flexible, cost-efficient production for both small and large series.
Schkeuditzer Metallveredelung GmbH, the leading surface coater in Central Germany, will be exhibiting innovative surface finishes at Z for optimum surface and corrosion protection as well as perfect optics. Whether it’s rack or barrel goods to be galvanised or anodised, or pickling passivation is required.
Hungarian exhibitor Meta-Vulk offers a wide range of high-quality technical rubber products, from vibration dampers to machine feet, cable grommets, door stoppers, pipe holders, lorry bumpers and extruded sealing profiles. The products are used in the automotive, household and heavy industry, in construction and mechanical engineering, in aerospace, in the military, in shipping, in rail and road transport, as well as in mining.
